When the 2024 season began, few could've predicted that the Washington Commanders would make it to the NFC Championship. The team only won four games in the 2023 season and hasn't even made it to the divisional round since 2005. Not to mention, they began this season with a rookie quarterback, Jayden Daniels, at the helm. But somehow, against the odds, they've become the league's Cinderella story. Only one win away from a Super Bowl appearance, they'll need to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles, a squad they bested once before by a field goal just a few days before Christmas. Can they do it again? Or was the victory just an early Christmas gift and nothing more? To find out, here's all you need to know learn how to watch the NFC championship game on Sunday, Jan. 26.

The Eagles and Commanders will take the field in Philadelphia, setting up a rematch of their Dec. 22, 2024 contest. Despite losing to Washington, the birds had a stellar year, finishing with a 14-3 record atop the NFC East. Had just one more game gone their way, they would've been tied with the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs for the league's top team.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had another exceptional season, dramatically lowering his interception total from 15 in 2023 to 5 in 2024. He completed nearly 69% of his passes and notched 18 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns. At Hurt's side was running back Saquon Barkley, who had a massive breakout season, totaling more than 2,000 rushing yards and 13 TDs.

Thus far in the postseason, Philly's dynamic duo has been nearly untouchable. Last week against the Los Angeles Rams, Barkley ran for a whopping 205 yards, averaging 8 yards per carry. If he can come close to repeating that performance in the NFC title game, Washington might be toast.

Of course, it would be a serious mistake to underestimate the Commanders, who have been underestimated all season long, right up until their shocking upset against the Detroit Lions in the divisional round. The rookie Daniels has been leading the charge, finishing the regular season with more than 3,500 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. In a crowded field of talented playoff QBs that includes Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, Daniels might just be the best of the bunch. In two postseason appearances, he's been close to perfect, tossing 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. But will the pressure of the spotlight get to him? And can a rookie really lead a team to the Super Bowl?

All will be revealed on Sunday, Jan. 26 at 3p.m. EST on FOX. Although FOX doesn't have its own streaming service with live football, like CBS has with Paramount+ or NBC with Peacock, there are still several ways to catch all the NFC title action without cable. Here's how to do exactly that.
